What types of services does SafeRoute offer?
SafeRoute offers fuel, oil, and water services, lockout assistance, flat tire assistance, battery jump start, and towing.

What is the maximum reimbursement amount I can be reimbursed per service?
You can be reimbursed up to $75 for any of the five services. SafeRoute will reimburse up to $225 total per year.  

How do the fuel, oil, and water services work?
Any customer can request an emergency supply of gas (where permitted), oil, fluid, and/or water. The fluids will be transported to the customer, and all the customer must do is cover the costs of the fluids themselves.

Will my spare tire be used if I request flat tire assistance?
If the spare tire is serviceable, it will be installed to replace the flat tire. If there is no serviceable spare or if there is more than one flat tire, the vehicle will be towed to assistance.  

If I request a towing service, where will my vehicle be taken?
When towing is necessary, the vehicle will be towed to the nearest qualified repair facility or to the repair facility of your choice.

Why do I have to provide a credit card each time?
This is a reimbursement program, so the dispatch service or roadside assistance administrator requires a credit card number for the initial payment. SafeRoute will reimburse you up to $75 for as many as three claims in one year.

Do I need to be with my vehicle when requesting a service?
Yes, the driver of the vehicle must be with the vehicle when the service provider arrives. If he or she is not, there may be an additional associated fee.

Can my spouse and children use these services?
Yes, spouses and dependent children may use the services when driving the covered vehicle.

Where can I use SafeRoute?
Coverage covers the U.S. and Canada every hour of every day year round, so long as the vehicle is being driven on a road maintained by a federal, state, or local authority.
